My goal is to build strong, lifelong relationships with the customers and clients of CENTURY 21 Heritage Realty by providing the best possible service through my team of professionally trained Realtors. I am owner and Managing Broker of CENTURY 21 Heritage Realty. I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 2001. Prior to my career in real estate, I worked in the mortgage industry for 10 years and held positions such as consumer lender, mortgage loan processor, mortgage loan officer, and branch manager. This knowledge and understanding of finance has been effective in closing transactions for all the clients of CENTURY 21 Heritage Realty. I began my real estate career when I purchased my first investment property in 2001 and obtained a real estate license to sell my own investment properties... my, how things change. From there, I purchased CENTURY 21 Heritage Realty in January 2004.
I am an active member of The Walton Barrow Board of Realtors, serving as a local director and 2007 V.P. of Administration and Finance and receipient of the 2007 Realtor Spirit Award. Other memberships include: Barrow County Chamber of Commerce, Winder Rotary Club, and Partners in Education with Holsenbeck Elementary & Winder Barrow Middle School. I believe it's important to reinvest in the community.
On a personal note, I am native to North Georgia. I grew up in Gainesville and Winder, attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, and lived in Atlanta/Buckhead area for a few years but moved back home to Barrow County in 1996. I have a wonderful husband, Bart, and a beautiful daughter Cameron. My hobbies are doing anything with my family and REAL ESTATE!

My husband and I reside in Barrow County and have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.
I enjoy playing bridge and am a member of the Wedding Committee at First United Methodist Church.
Interacting with our clients and associates is an exciting part of my job and the community we serve.

My home
"Born and raised", as the old phrase goes. I was born in Winder and I've lived in Barrow County since birth with the exception of a few months as a child and then 1 year as an adolescent. I've witnessed the growth and have enjoyed meeting thousands of newcomers to our community, many of them now dear friends.
My family
I am a wife, and mother of two, and a grandmother of five. My entire family lives near me and we have a lot of fun together. And of course, five grandchildren under the age of 6, keeps me on my toes.
My community
I am a member of the First United Methodist Church,and have been involved in the community for the past 35 years in many areas including the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce and various Charity Organizations such as The American Cancer Society and The March of Dimes.
My hobbies
When I have time, I like to paint with acrylics and watercolors and I enjoy sewing, whether it is making accessories for my home or little outfits for my granddaughters. My husband and I enjoy anything associated with water. Watching our grandchildren play on the beach or in the pool gives us great pleasure, but our true passion is fishing.
My business
I was licensed in January 1997 and learned immediately the gratification of helping someone find their dream home or sell the one they loved. I worked as a full-time REALTOR® for 3 years before becoming an Owner/Broker. As my family grew and my personal demands changed, I made the decision to sell the Company and get back to what I loved the most, working directly with Sellers and Buyers. Since the very beginning in 1997 until today, I've only been affiliated with CENTURY 21 Heritage Realty, an outstanding team of professionals that support each other and their efforts to assure that our Customers goals are achieved.
I am a member of The Walton Barrow Board of REALTORS®, The Georgia Association of REALTOR®, and The National Association of REALTOR®. My REALTOR® designations are GRI, Graduate REALTOR® Institute, ABR, and ASR delegate. I am a three-time recipient of the CENTURY 21 Quality Service Award.

Originally from Ohio, I moved to Georgia in 2001 and have been a resident of Barrow County since 2002. I reside in Winder with my husband of 6 years, Chris and my two beautiful daughters, Haley and Kaitlyn. I enjoy softball, volleyball, fishing, spending time with my family and friends and working toward better fitness at the Winder YMCA. I am also an active member of the Barrow community and participate in such events as March of Dimes Walk of America® and ACS Relay for Life® and play co-ed adult slow pitch softball for the Barrow County Leisure Services.

David Thaxton
I was born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia and I moved to Winder 8 years ago. I graduated from Milton High School in 1984. I went directly into the work force and haven’t let up since. I’ve been servicing customers in one fashion or another. I started out in the mechanic field and moved into the management field of the rental industry. I have dealt with customers for 23 years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have always wanted to be in the real estate industry so I decided to pursue my goal. Now that I have my license, I have a new goal and that’s to serve a new kind of customer. One that’s looking to fulfill a dream and that’s to purchase their dream home. I look forward to working with the Barrow county public as I have done for years. I also look forward to working with a new team at Century 21 Heritage Realty.
On a more personal note, I have 3 children: Matthew, Sara and Hannah. As you all know Like all kids they think their grown.
